Biography
Michael Saltzman, MD, practices urology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Saltzman has expertise in vasectomies, cystoscopes and more, offering comprehensive care for various medical needs, including kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, urinary tract infections, and overactive bladder.
Dr. Saltzman earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He is board-certified in General Surgery-Urology. He completed a medical specialty fellowship at New York University Medical Center in General Surgery. He also participated in post graduate training in 1998 in Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Saltzman actively participates in American Urological Association to stay updated on medical advancements.
Dr. Saltzman is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of their patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. He has been practicing at Ochsner since 2023. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking and fishing.
