Dr. Mirza Khaleeluddin Baig is a board-certified family medicine physician. He was born and raised in India where he completed his initial medical training and internship at Deccan College of Medical Sciences - Hyderabad, India. He then attended Louisiana State University - University Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana where he completed a family medicine residency. Dr. Baig is a fellow of American Academy of Family Physicians. He provides primary medical care for patients ranging from adolescents to adults. Dr. Baig has been on staff at Ochsner since 2012. He likes to travel, watch football and listen to music in his spare time. He is happily married and has three children. Special interests and clinical services offered include: Well and sick care for children, and adolescents Immunizations Primary care of adults with acute and chronic illness Urgent care Women's health Office orthopedics and sports medicine Health screenings and maintenance

Dr. B was great. He is not my primary care physician, but remembered me from a previous visit. He was well informed about a previous visit I referenced for a similar issue. I love the was physicians at west esplanade seem to work as a team

Dr. Baig greeted me at the door, listened attentively, even noted my last visit with him. He was able to diagnose me and offer treatment and addressed my concerns. Essentially he let me feel that I mattered as a patient and not just a number. Good visit.

Dr. Baig is not my primary physician. I visited his office while my regular doctor was on vacation and didn’t expect much. To my surprise, he was very attentive and took my concerns seriously. His entire staff was super helpful, very polite and supportive. I would recommend Dr. Baig and his nurses to anyone who is looking for a primary care physician.

Dr Baig is very professional with his patients. He treats you as an individual and is very knowledgeable when it comes to care. He and his staff return all calls in a short period of time. When you attend your appointments you do not have to wait any longer than 10 minutes. Great doctor. Highly recommend
