Biography

Patrick Fitzsimmons, MD, practices interventional pain medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Fitzsimmons treats a variety of pain conditions, including spinal, joint/arthritis, cancer, and nerve pains. He uses both ultrasound and x-rays to guide his procedures, ensuring the most accurate and best treatment is delivered. He completed all of his education and medical training after high school within the Louisiana State University system. He is an alumnus of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, where he helps coach the wrestling team. He is married to Dr. Kelly Vogel and has two young children. Dr. Fitzsimmons is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine
