Biography
Originally from the northeast, Dr. Bourguillon pursued a biology degree at Fairfield University in Connecticut before earning her master's in biomedical science from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. Her career trajectory shifted when she transitioned from pharmaceutical research to medical school, where she became a medical doctor at New York Medical College. Later, she moved to the Lowcountry and served as the family medicine chief resident during her residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Dr. Bourguillon is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. “I like involving patients in their care so, together, we can decide on ways to move forward,” she says. “I really enjoy when I see a positive change in my patients’ health.” Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Bourguillon enjoys workout classes and reading.
