If I could give Dr. K 10 stars I would. She is so compassionate and through with her work. She truly loves what she does. Always willing to go over and beyond for her patients. Thank you for all that you do for us. I will forever be a patient!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot explain how comforting/relieving it is to FINALLY have a doctor that actually listens to me, doesn't make me feel rushed in my appointments, and creates a space where I feel safe talking about ALL parts of my health (including more intimate topics). Dr. Kermis is extremely kind, nonjudgmental, and works to get to the root of the issue. At one point I felt shy asking certain questions because I thought it was "tmi" but she told me, "If your doctor ever makes you feel like what you are sharing is 'too much,' they are not the right doctor for you!" She even took the time to reach out to a colleague to find the perfect specialist for me when I started talking about an issue that required a doctor in a different practice (Sports Medicine). I seriously could not recommend Dr. Kermis more! From her professionalism and knowledge, to her vibrant energy and caring beside manners, Dr. Kermis is truly one of a kind!

Dr. Kermis exemplifies the ideal healthcare provider. It’s hard to find a doctor that will look you in the eyes and discuss problems and treatment options WITH you. She has a great bedside manner and you can really tell she puts in effort to make you feel like a part of her team. You know she’s a great physician when a large portion of her clients all seem to be healthcare workers!

I had a very good visit with Dr. Kermis and she listened to everything I had to say. But I’m truly impressed by her nurse Brandy. This was my first visit. Brandy introduced herself when we got in the room and I guess she could tell I was a bit nervous because she immediately started talking to me like she’s known me forever. Telling jokes and just making me feel so comfortable. I’m not sure if it’s her personality and if she’s like that with everyone but I was very impressed by Brandy. I felt the need to leave this review focused on her. Not sure if anyone sees these but thank you Brandy for being such a great nurse and please keep up the great work!!!

Excellent physician! Truly cares about her patients

Dr. Kermis is by far the greatest physician I have ever seen. I intentionally found this just so that I could leave a review. She is patient and listens actively. She responds carefully and totally non-judgmental. She believes in effective and comprehensive treatment.

Dr. Kermis is awesome! She listens and talks with you (not at you.) I would recommend her to anyone.

I established care with Dr. Kermis because I read she had great reviews. When I met her, she did not disappoint. I think she is what a PCP should be. Someone non-judgmental (open about things that patients are embarrassed to talk about, such as mental health or STI screening). Someone who encourages health promotion, such as ensuring you get updated immunizations, such as an updated tetanus shot, which everyone must have for flood-prone areas like here in Louisiana. She also really finds ways you can save on medications or immunizations. She is a great patient advocate. Although, I am happy to know that she now has a new role. I am sad to have lost a great PCP.
