Rachel D. Bezdek, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health. She is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who has been providing full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care to women in the River Parishes and greater New Orleans Area since 2009. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and completed her residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

While Dr. Bezdek provides care to women of all ages and stages of life, she has developed a specialized interest in the care of women during perimenopause and menopause, as well as the evaluation and treatment of perinatal mood disorders and adolescent gynecology.

Dr Bezdek has been recognized multiple times as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, reflecting her dedication to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. She is deeply committed to supporting women through every stage of life, with a focus on evidence-based care, education and long-term wellness.

She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Louisiana State Medical Society.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, reading, gardening and making memories with family and friends.
