Rachel Fabacher, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Fabacher provides comprehensive OB/GYN care, including obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, preconception and fertility counseling, adolescent gynecology and menopause. Her goal is to provide exceptional, personalized care to women in a compassionate and welcoming environment.

Dr. Fabacher is a New Orleans native who graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans in 2014. She then completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Fabacher practiced for several years in Houston before returning home to New Orleans and joining the Ochsner team. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and she is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner.

As a mother of two, she empathizes with the physical changes and concerns that come with pregnancy. She practices evidence based medicine and encourages open communication between patients and their doctors.
