Dr. Giacontiere earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA in 2007 and her Doctorate of Audiology from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2011. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Giacontiere's clinical interests include pediatric and adult hearing testing, such as VNG evaluations, hearing aid fitting, aural rehabilitation, assistive listening devices, hearing conservation, musician and industrial earplug fitting, and educating the public on the effects of hearing loss in all aspects of life. Dr. Giacontiere has been on staff with Ochsner since 2011 and practices at Ochsner Health Center-Covington.
