Rebecca Varnado, NP, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in hospital medicine. She obtained her master's of science in nursing from the University of South Alabama and her bachelor's of science in nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Rebecca began working as a cardiology nurse practitioner in 2020. Prior to this, she gained over eight years of experience working as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit. Rebecca is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Cardiology, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society.
