Ryan Breaud, DO, practices pediatrics at Ochsner Health. A native of Reserve, Louisiana, he is proud to care for families in his home state. Dr. Breaud believes in caring for the whole child, taking a thoughtful and holistic approach that considers each patient’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs. He is passionate about preventive care, mental and behavioral health, and supporting children with chronic conditions. He values building lasting relationships with families and feels privileged to care for children from infancy through adolescence.

Dr. Breaud earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, and received his medical degree with honors from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama. During medical school, he was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society and was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar in Pediatrics.

Dr. Breaud completed his pediatric internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is board certified in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Breaud enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and hiking. He also enjoys experiencing Louisiana’s culture through local festivals and exploring the area’s vibrant food scene. He is grateful to be home and serving the families of his community.
