Sarena Richardson, MS, FNP-C, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. Ms. Richardson has been working in healthcare for over 15 years with experience in cardiology, pediatrics, women’s health and geriatrics. She offers comprehensive care for various medical needs, including chronic and acute disease prevention and management.

Ms. Richardson earned her initial nursing degree from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, in 2010. She earned her advanced practice nursing degree at the University of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado. She received her board certification in advanced practice nursing through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Ms. Richardson is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners to stay updated on medical advancements.

Ms. Richardson is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2024. Outside of medicine, she enjoys skiing, hiking and traveling.
