Savannah Truehart, MD, practices physical medicine and rehabilitation at Ochsner Health. Dr. Truehart has expertise in musculoskeletal conditions, ultrasound guided injections, non-operative spine care, electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies, neurorehabilitation, and spasticity management including botulinum toxin injections. Dr. Truehart earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2020. She completed her transitional year internship at Kaweah Health in Visalia, California, in 2021 and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford Healthcare in Stanford, California in 2024. Dr. Truehart actively participates in American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists, and American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine to stay updated on medical advancements. Dr. Truehart is dedicated to addressing the medical and rehabilitative needs of her patients while understanding their individual concerns and goals. She has been practicing at Ochsner following her graduation from residency in 2024. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cycling, pickleball, and spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers.
