Born in New Orleans, Dr. Sean Roberts proudly attended Jesuit High School while growing up in Mid-City. He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi then completed his residency at Louisiana State University in Internal Medicine. After working as a hospitalist in downtown Atlanta for a year, he then completed his fellowship training in Nephrology at Emory University in Atlanta prior to coming back home to Louisiana. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and currently lives in Covington with his wife and three children. Dr. Roberts' clinical interests include chronic kidney disease, nutrition, home dialysis therapy, hypertension, glomerulopathies, hemodialysis (end stage renal disease services) and nephrolithiasis. His practice philosophy is to use nutrition and lifestyle changes to help disease states while trying to minimize and simplify medications when possible. He has been in practice for over 20 years in the Greater New Orleans area.
