Shantell Dugas, FNP-C, MSN, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in hematology oncology at Ochsner Health. Since joining Ochsner Cancer Center of Acadiana in 2022, she has been dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients throughout the region. A proud graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Shantell earned her advanced practice degree in 2021.

Deeply committed to community engagement, Shantell actively participates in the Leadership Lafayette program and serves on the Spanish Immersion Panel at her children’s school. Her contributions have been recognized with the prestigious 2025 Spirit of Hope award, and she was honored to serve as the 2025 commencement speaker for Infinity College.

Outside of her professional and community roles, Shantell enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
