Shermese Ceaser, FNP-BC, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. She is a native of St. Bernard Parish and attended Chalmette High School. Shermese worked as a nurse for six years. Shermese received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University.

Shermese worked as a nurse in New Orleans in medical-surgical inpatient and outpatient clinics for about four years. She then completed her master’s program in 2023 from Herzing University, where she graduated and sat for her nurse practitioner board certification exam through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Since becoming certified, Shermese completed a year-long nurse practitioner residency at DePaul Community Health Center where she built her foundation in primary care medicine.

Shermese's hobbies are reading, traveling, trying new foods and spending time with family and friends.
