Dr. Suneeta Walia is a dermatologist who specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is double board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology in dermatology and micrographic dermatologic surgery. Dr. Walia is a native of New Orleans, graduating at the top of her class at Benjamin Franklin High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University and earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2001. She completed her internship at Georgetown University and her dermatology residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She also completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at Dermatologic Surgery Specialists in Macon, Georgia. She is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
