Biography

Dr. Sunni Primeaux practices psychology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Primeaux is a Louisiana native who completed her undergraduate training at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and earned a PhD in clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship as well as her post-doctoral fellowship at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans. She then continued her education, earning a post-doctoral masters degree in clinical psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Primeaux is licensed as a medical psychologist and works from a dual psychotherapy/medication management model. Additionally, she is the training director of Ochsner Psychology Doctoral Internship, adult track.
