Dr. Vernard Fennell received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2009 and completed his internship and residency in neurosurgery at the University of Arizona. He completed his fellowship in neuroendovascular surgery at University at Buffalo. Dr. Fennell went on to complete a clinical spine fellowship at the University of Arizona - Tucson, and skull base and cerebrovascular fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute.
Dr. Fennell is board eligible by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and completed his residency in 2015. He has been on staff at Ochsner since March 2020.
