W. Dan Lynch, DO, FASAM, DFAOAAM, practices addiction medicine at Ochsner Health in Slidell, Louisiana. Dr. Lynch specializes in treating both acute and chronic substance use disorders in the outpatient setting. He provides medication-based treatments to adults (18 years old and up), addressing a variety of substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder.

Dr. Lynch earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in 2015. He completed his residency in neuromusculoskeletal medicine at Northwest Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri, in 2019. Dr. Lynch then received his board-certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. In 2022, he received his board certification in Addiction Medicine through the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Lynch actively participates in the American Society for Addiction Medicine, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Academy of Osteopathic Addiction Medicine to stay updated on medical advancements. He is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a distinguished fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Lynch is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his family.
