William Robert Gailmard, MD, practices family medicine at Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus – Bellview in Pensacola, Florida. Dr. Gailmard has extensive experience in primary care and family medicine and is board-certified in family medicine. A graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, Dr. Gailmard attended the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his family medicine residency at East Tennessee State University in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Dr. Gailmard is a U. S. Navy veteran and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He previously served at the Pensacola Navy Clinic, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. Since October 2023, Dr. Gailmard has brought that same dedication to senior-focused care at Ochsner Novant Health 65 Plus, serving patients in Okatie, South Carolina, as well as both Pensacola, Florida, clinic locations.

Dr. Gailmard encourages the philosophy of growing older, not merely getting old, emphasizing how our focus is to enable patients to lead longer, healthier lives through our forward-thinking approach to care. “It’s a better care model when you can sit down, get to know the patient and figure out what's important to them,” he says. “Then together we figure out how to make their goals happen.” Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Gailmard enjoys living with his dearest partner of five years, Diana, bicycling with her around downtown Pensacola, listening to live music, planning and traveling to special events and keeping up with an aged Dalmatian, a very energetic young Border Collie and a tree-dwelling cat.
