Biography
Dr. Hannah earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UMASS Memorial Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by a general cardiology fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
He completed his first year of interventional cardiology fellowship at Detroit Medical Center Heart Hospital, gaining extensive experience in coronary and peripheral interventions, and completed a second year of interventional cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, with focused training in comprehensive peripheral arterial and venous intervention.
Dr. Hannah is board-certified in internal medicine and has been practicing at Ochsner since 2022, currently based at Ochsner Rush Health along with his wife, a gastroenterologist. He believes that the mission of medicine is to prevent the avoidable loss of human life and limb, and that every patient deserves the highest quality of care, every day, no matter what.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hannah enjoys reading about theoretical computer science, aerospace engineering, and theoretical physics, as well as flying drones and hunting and fishing.
