About Ochsner Lafayette General Urgent Care - Maurice

We know medical issues don’t just pop up during normal business hours, and deciding whether your illness or injury is a true emergency can be hard when you feel sick or are in pain. While the hospital’s emergency department is prepared for every kind of medical emergency, Ochsner Lafayette General’s Urgent Care Centers are a great place to visit for medical needs that are urgent, but not emergent.
Ochsner Health Center - Maurice will provide treatment for common illnesses and minor injuries from a local care team focused on staying true to Maurice’s close-knit, family-oriented values.
The Ochsner Health Center - Maurice will also house MTS Physical Therapy & Wellness, an independently owned physical therapy company and Ochsner Lafayette General’s partner in providing physical therapy and wellness services to Acadiana. MTS provides services inside two hospitals within the Ochsner Lafayette General system. This location is their eighth standalone clinic in the region and first in Vermilion Parish. Patients can schedule appointments Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

If there is an increase of patients with emergency conditions, your projected treatment time may be delayed.
