Where to Eat at the Hospital
Southport Café - Hospital 1st floor: The café offers a variety of choices, including a deli, grill, soup / salad bar, and hot food.
Hours: 6 a.m. - 10 a.m., 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Bistro ‘42 - Atrium 1st floor: The café offers a variety of hot entrees, prepared salads, fruits, vegetables, pizza, cold sandwiches and beverages.
Hours: Breakfast 6 a.m. - 5 p.m. Bistro ‘42 is closed weekends and holidays.
PJ’s Coffee - Atrium 1st floor: PJ’s offers a variety of coffees and teas as well as specialty drinks, pastries, small sandwiches and salads.
In the hospital, vending machines are located in the Southport Café and near the elevators on floors 3 –11.
In the Brent House Hotel there is a vending room on the 1st floor near the entrance to the parking garage.
Patient Amenities
Language and Translation Services
Foreign language interpreters are available to assist non-English speaking patients in all aspects of their care. Language services are available 24 hours/day 7 days/week free of charge. Face-to-Face interpreter service is available at Ochsner Hospital for Children directly through the International Health Services Department at 504-842-3719.
Hours: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. After 5 p.m., please call the operator (0) for the person on call.
Pharmacy
The Ochsner Outpatient Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Atrium tower lobby. In addition to filling prescriptions, personal toiletries are available.

Blood Bank
The Ochsner Blood Bank is located on the 1st floor Atrium Tower near the Medical Library.

Sending Mail
There are two public mail drop locations: On the 1st floor near hospital elevators and at the entrance to the Brent House Hotel.
Hours: 7 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Gift Shop
8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday
