Biography

Alejandro Gimenez, MD, is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center who is dedicated to helping patients look and feel their best. He specializes in breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, limb salvage and aesthetic procedures for the face and body.

Dr. Gimenez has advanced expertise in microsurgical breast reconstruction, including DIEP, PAP, and LAP flaps, as well as implant-based and oncoplastic techniques. He also offers innovative lymphedema surgery, performing lymphovenous bypasses and lymph node transfers.

With a commitment to compassionate, personalized care, Dr. Gimenez strives to deliver natural, balanced results that restore both form and confidence.
