Dr. Alexandra Band is a board-certified OB/GYN. She attended Middlebury College in Vermont for her undergraduate studies. And returned home to Tulsa, Oklahoma for medical school where she attended Oklahoma State University College of Health Sciences. She completed her internship and residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans where she served as education chief resident in her final year. Dr. Band practices all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology with special interests in adolescent care, obstetrics/ pregnancy, gynecology and gynecologic surgery. Her practice focuses on all aspects of women's health and wellness as she seeks to help her patients achieve and maintain a lifetime or wellness, from pregnancy to post-partum care to lifelong gynecologic needs. Dr. Band sees patients at Ochsner Baptist and Ochsner Mid-City locations.
