Ochsner Health Center – Mid-City, located in the Mid-City Market on North Carrollton Avenue in New Orleans, offers convenient access to primary care services. Patients can receive a range of care, including laboratory services, immunizations and EKG testing - all in one central location.
Schedule an appointment
To schedule an appointment, call 504-842-7400. You may also schedule an appointment through MyOchsner.
We offer same-day and next-day appointments. We also offer virtual visits. If you are a new patient, your first virtual appointment is at the discretion of the provider. Learn more about virtual visits, here.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please make every effort to notify us within a 24-hour advanced notice. If your doctor is unavailable for an urgent problem, please consider allowing Ochsner to book an appointment for you with another provider.
Prescription refills
Ochsner makes it easy to refill your prescriptions. To request a refill, please contact your pharmacy. If the pharmacist has any questions, they will reach out to Ochsner directly. Be sure your pharmacy sends the refill request at least three to five business days before you run out of medication. If the request is not received in time, we cannot guarantee the refill will be ready before your current supply runs out.
Ochsner On Call
Unless otherwise directed by your doctor or provider, please call Ochsner On Call, our 24/7 nurse care advice line at 1-800-231-5257, for guidance regarding your symptoms. For emergencies, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.
Registered nurses at the Ochsner On Call Center can help determine how soon you should be seen and recommend the best care options for your symptoms.

Everyone from the security guard, to the receptionist, to the nurse, to the provider was wonderfully nice and efficient. I got in and out with very little wait time and the prescription I needed. Natalie Schneider, NP, is doing a great job. Highly recommend.

Hi, I saw the comments and so I thought I would write and ask. Is there help for the undocumented. Centrally located in Midcity on Carrollton in the businesses located by Juan’s Flying Burrito and Winn Dixie parking lot. Waiting time was at a minimum, took a few cultures and I was in and out in little less than 30 minutes. Will go there again for any other Urgent Care needs

Ochsner Mid-city is the BEST!!!! NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE!!! I love both of the Ms. Kim's, Ms. Penny always greets you as soon as you walk in the door, Dr. Langfe, everyone else who works there are the best. I've been going there since they were located on St. Charles. I even have my daughter going there now. They take care of you as a oon as you walk in to when you're finished and leaving out. Couldn't ask for a better Dr's office!!!!!

The staff at Mid-city are like a family that you haven’t seen in days. You are ready to give a hug but due to Covid there’s a smile through the mask . They’re always professional and you’re able to talk to them openly and you can let your guard down and tell him exactly how you’re feeling with no judgment.
