Alisa Butler, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in internal medicine. Alisa brings a diverse clinical background to her role, with experience in medical-surgical nursing, geriatrics, long-term acute care (LTAC), nephrology, case management and family medicine. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on improving overall health and wellness.

Alisa began her nursing career by earning an Associate of Science in nursing from Louisiana State University at Eunice in 2002. She completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2009. She later earned her Master of Science in nursing from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2014.

She is an active member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Louisiana State Nurses Association. Outside of work, Alisa enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, shopping and traveling.
