Biography
At Ochsner, Allison provides advanced care to critically ill patients in the neurocritical care unit. She plays an active role in the unit’s Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program, underscoring her commitment to patient safety and quality improvement. Her leadership extends beyond the bedside; she participated in the 2023 Introduction to Advanced Practice Practitioner Leadership Program and is a member of Ochsner’s inaugural APP System Steering Council, helping to shape the future of advanced practice within the health system.
Allison maintains certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Emergency Neurological Life Support. She is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
Dedicated to education and mentorship, Allison also volunteers at LSUHSC and Xavier University’s physician assistant programs, where she supports the next generation of physician assistants in their training and professional development.
