Alyssa Scurria, PsyD, is a licensed pediatric clinical psychologist at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is an integrated pediatric primary care (IPPC) psychologist with expertise in providing consultation and liaison services to patients and their families. Through her IPPC practice, she offers brief assessment and solution-focused treatment for a variety of behavioral health needs that are often discussed during primary care visits, such as concerns for anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental differences and disorders (such as ADHD, autism), and behavior problems across ages.  Dr. Scurria does not offer traditional therapy or counseling. 

Dr. Scurria earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2023. She completed her doctoral internship and fellowship at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is board-certified in clinical psychology by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as of 2024. 

Dr. Scurria has been practicing at Ochsner since 2024 and is dedicated to addressing the behavioral health needs of her patients while individualizing assessment and treatment to address each family’s presenting concerns and personal goals. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in new activities and events around the city and visiting as many brunch spots as possible.
