Amanda Burke practices bariatric surgery at Ochsner Health. She has received a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Ochsners Bariatric Surgery team, she obtained several years of experience as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiovascular Surgical team. Amanda is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is board-certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center as an Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified in BLS and ACLS provider.
