Amanda earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, Amanda obtained over five years of experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Cardiac and Neuroscience Intensive Care Units at Ochsner Health Center. Amanda is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
