Ochsner Baptist - A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center is a fully accredited, 182-bed hospital staffed by more than 300 trusted and skilled physicians. The hospital is routinely recognized for excellent care and features private, inpatient rooms, an intensive care unit, state-of-the-art operating rooms and two cardiac catheterization labs.
Ochsner Baptist is home to the Women’s Pavilion, a trusted and convenient place for women of all ages to connect to the expert care they need. From standard and specialized obstetric and gynecological needs and gynecological robotic surgery, to high-risk maternal fetal medicine physicians, Ochsner Baptist has it all. When it's time to deliver, Ochsner Baptist offers private rooms and alternative birthing options such as water births. Ochsner Baptist also received the Birth Ready+ Designation by Louisiana Perinatal Quality Collaborative (LaPQC).
In addition, there is an onsite, state-of-the-art imaging center and laser vision center distinguished by our quality care, excellence in specialty care and high patient satisfaction scores.
A team of board-certified ER physicians staffs our 24-hour, full service emergency room that offers two trauma rooms, 12 patient rooms and is equipped with specialized amenities for older adults.
Ochsner Baptist is home to a health center with physician offices such as primary care, urology, orthopedics, back and spine services, pain management and many more. We also provide convenient primary care services at our Mid-City clinic with same-day and next-day appointments and accessible parking.

Certain tests are just so uncomfortable no matter what. But THIS place eases any apprehension. It is very clean and has a well organized staff who quickly yet thoroughly tend to your medical care. They answer your questions you might have and make sure to ask YOU if you have any questions or concerns. The Women Center here is so on point I've been recommending to all female friends I know as well as neighbors and coworkers.

Nurses were great, the primary doctor I had was great, but on her day off this guy sent me home way too early. Been spending most of my time in bed for the last week. They kept telling me it was one thing, but I know that wasn't just the case. This guy just rushed me out of the hospital and his excuse was after talking to me for 5 minutes said their is nothing else I can do for him???

The Imaging Center is also on Jefferson Hwy --- directly across street from the hospital & general campus. Easy access, safe parking - I've NEVER had any problems. I like this location very much and ask for this location when given the option of where I might get my imaging!!

I had a sleep study here and the staff was amazing. Ms. Anita and Leena made me feel comfortable. Ms. Donna was with me for my day study and she is an angel. She was so caring and considerate. The information she provided before the appointment was helpful. She responded quickly to my voicemail to say she works in day studies. Mr. Allen checked on me as well. I am happy that they are here.

Ochsner Baptist is great! Went there for my whole pregnancy and LOVED my obgyn. ER is good too. Also went there for doctors not part of Ochsner, which is very nice. Good parking structure and great doctors! Love Ochsner Baptist!

I had to go to Baptist emergency with Chest pains. The staff was amazing - so caring! Dr. Krajewski was kind, and gave me exceptional care as well as explaining tests results and treatment in an easy-to-understand way. Thank you Ochsner Baptist!

My experience on 07/15/24 for outpatient surgery was superb from registering with Clorita beautiful smile and professionalism to the security guard and my cna and the nurses ❤ I had the smoothest transition from checking in, preop, surgery and postop care. Thank you all for making this health journey easier. And of course God bless Dr. Amy Rivere, my excellent surgeon.

I had my first mammogram here. The person who did my imaging was so kind and gentle and walked me through the process step by step! She even answered questions I didn’t even know I had. I also love OCHSNER’s app and the ability to check in in advance, make and reschedule my own appointments, and look at my own medical records any time. The app even told me exactly where to go for this appointment. I can’t recommend OCHSNER enough.

Thank you to the doctors and staff at Ochsner Baptist and the River Parishes ER for taking such wonderful care of me. I was in pain beyond measure with Ovarian tumors that resulted in a Hysterectomy. I can’t think of one staff member that did not treat me with so much compassion. I was so impressed with some of the younger staff as well. The Professionalism can’t be measured. I want to especially that Dr. Torres and the GYN Oncology staff and also the staff on the 3rd floor where my room was. Faith and Natalia( I am sorry if I misspelled your name) are the best nurses ever. The other nurses are as well!!! Thank you all so much again!! I am home resting now Thanking GOD for people that became blessings in your life when things negatively happen!! ❤️

Everyone was kind and respectful of their patients. During the time it was winter and Covid-19 was still a thing, plus Mister Reggie was omitted due to the virus. But in all and all he was provided with a nice clean room and also given meals daily! He almost stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks and not once did he say he had an issue whatsoever. Thanks again to everyone and bless you all!!!
