Amanda Theppote, MD, specializes in infectious diseases at Ochsner Health. She received her medical degree from University of Queensland in Herston, Australia, internship and residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, and her fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Theppote is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020. Dr. Theppote is chair of the Internal Medicine Clinical Competency Committee and associate program director for Ochsner's Infectious Diseases fellowship.
