Andrea Olofson, MD, practices anatomic and clinical pathology at Ochsner Health. Her area of expertise includes gastrointestinal, liver and gynecologic pathology.

Dr. Olofson earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida, in 2010. She subsequently completed residency training at Dartmouth Health in Hanover, New Hampshire, followed by a GI/Liver Pathology fellowship at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She is board-certified in AP/CP Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.

Dr. Olofson actively participates in artificial intelligence research in relation to surgical pathology diagnostics and biomedical data.
