Andrew Majeste, DNP, practices endocrinology at Ochsner Health. Andrew earned his Doctorate in Nursing Practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS in 2020. The focus of his doctoral research was in the area of inpatient diabetes management. Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mississippi College in 2013. He is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a type 1 diabetic, Andrew is passionate about caring for patients with diabetes and other medical conditions causing glucose dysregulation.
