Angela Harris, DO, is a primary care (internal medicine) doctor with Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge. She grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated from Southern University and A&M College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for seven years until deciding to return to school and become a doctor. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008 and completed her medicine residency at Methodist Health System in Dallas, where she served as chief resident. She has a strong interest in women's health and in the care for the elderly.
