April Ceaser, PA-C, assists in breast surgery at Ochsner Health. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a minor in biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Prior to joining the Ochsner team, she gained experience assisting in advanced laparoscopic, bariatric and general surgeries. April also managed postoperative care for both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing counseling to new patients regarding their treatment plans and recovery processes. She is board-certified by the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.



April is committed to addressing the medical needs of her patients with a personalized approach, taking the time to consider each individual's concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
