Aunjél Faucheux, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner practicing primary care medicine at Ochsner Health. She has been providing compassionate, evidence-based care since 2017. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from the University of New Orleans in 2000, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2012, and a Master of Science in nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2017. She will finish her post-master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practice certification in December 2025 to further expand her ability to serve her patients across the lifespan.

Aunjél is experienced in caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric populations, with a commitment to holistic and personalized care. Known for her approachable demeanor and clinical excellence, she consistently earns high patient satisfaction scores. Born and raised in New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, Aunjél is deeply committed to the health and well-being of her Northshore community.

She is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Her dedication and excellence have been recognized through multiple accolades, including being voted Edge of the Lake Reader’s Choice Nurse Practitioner of St. Tammany East for both 2024 and 2025, and being nominated for the 2024 Ochsner Spirit of Leadership Award. Outside of her clinical work, Aunjél enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling and reading.
