Bethany Jennings, DNP, practices stroke and vascular neurology at Ochsner Health. She is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Health Science Center with a masters of nursing degree and is a certified family nurse practitioner. She has been employed by Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans since 2003, and has been a member of Ochsner's stroke team since 2006, assuming the position of stroke program coordinator in 2011. She was instrumental in securing Ochsner Medical Center's Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center Certification and, in May 2013, led their team in achieving Comprehensive Stroke Certification; the first in the Gulf South region to achieve this certification.

She is currently the system stroke program coordinator for the Ochsner Neurovascular Program, which focuses on improving patient outcomes and care processes across Louisiana. She is also a practicing clinician within the vascular neurology hospital service at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans.
