Blakeney's special interests within diabetes management include diabetes technology, insulin pump therapy, and diabetes in pregnancy. Blakeney believes that continued communication between patient and provider is the key to quality healthcare and patient autonomy. She strives to interact with patients in a way that she would want her family and herself to be treated.

On a scale of 1 to 10, Blakeny McKnight is at least a 15!! I have had Endocrinologists that didnt show as much compassion, professionalism and knowledge as Mrs McKnight...she should be called DOCTOR McKnight because she far out paces specialists I've dealt with in the past!
