Biography
Brandi Fontenot, MD, practices internal medicine at Ochsner Health Center – Bluebonnet South. After undergraduate studies at LSU in Baton Rouge, Dr. Fontenot earned a medical degree from the LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine. She completed the LSU School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program at the former Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge. Dr. Fontenot is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Medical Association and the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Fontenot is the best. She is always nice and kind to me. She goes thru everything about my health and asks me questions about how I'm doing and goes over everything in my chart. Please keep her here for a long time. She is a wonderful doctor. I love her.

I was an RN who practiced in an oncology clinic for many years so I believe I can be particular. With that said Dr. Fontenot and her staff are excellent or beyond. She is compassionate. She listens, practices science based medicine and an outstanding doctor.

Would most definitely recommend. I believe that Dr. Fontenot was probably the best doctor I've ever seen in this regard. Attentive. Concerned. Thorough. Talked on my level and not over my head. Expressed her research that she would do on my test results from the past in order to evaluate the issue I was having. On the basis of that visit and on a scale of 1-10, I would rate her above the 10. She went over and beyond.
