Bria Murray, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health with a particular interest in adolescent gynecology, menstrual disorders, and reducing maternal morbidity. With experience in robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical techniques, Dr. Murray provides compassionate and comprehensive care for a range of medical needs, including abnormal uterine bleeding, contraception, and pregnancy. She is passionate about providing age-appropriate care to young women, addressing their unique gynecological needs with sensitivity and expertise.

After earning her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. Murray completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Virginia where she served as Chief Resident. She was also a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Morbidity and Mortality Committee and the Graduate Medical Education Committee. She actively participates in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association to stay updated on medical advancements.

Dr. Murray is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients taking into consideration individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, Louisiana State University football, jigsaw puzzles and cooking Louisiana cuisine.
