Where do I begin to let people know about the incredible Dr Bagert? I have had several neurologists who deal with Multiple Sclerosis, but none as knowledgeable, dedicated, and forward thinking as Dr. Bagert. I bad been on one MS medication for years; and one of the firsts things that Dr Bagert did was to test my blood to see if the medication was effective for me. The blood test showed that it was no longer working to slow down the progression of my disease. She changed my medication. That had never been done in all the years I was on that medication. There are many things that she has done for me as her patient, but she has done so much for all MS patients and the Ochsner Medical Center. She changed Ochsner’s MS resources from having an MS doctor to creating the Ochsner MS Clinic; establishing a team of clinicians to aid patients; an MS research program to aid in the future treatment and cure of MS; and many other related programs and MS resources. I once had an appointment with Dr Bagert as she opened the door I teasingly said, “Is there a cure for MS yet?” She looked at me and said, “I’m still here! When they find a cure I’ll be gone “. She not only works with the needs of her patients,, but for the future of everyone suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. She is someone to look up to.

We’ve been going to Dr.Bagert for four years since we moved down here. We travel three hours for my appointments. Dr. Bagert takes her time, listens and addresses any concerns that I have. She is professional, friendly and always positive. She is well informed and looks for a solution for my concerns. I am 100% satisfied wit Dr. Bagert.

If you need a MS Neurologist, then Dr Bagert is who you need to see! Very thorough with her exams and questions. Does not rush through her appointments and makes you feel like you are her only patient. We travel from Alexandria, La to New Orleans for my appointments, and the travel time is so worth the treatment! She will arrange virtual visits also, when testing and labs are not needed for an appointment
