Dr. Plost treats all areas of pediatric orthopedic surgery including fractures, clubfoot, deformity, and scoliosis but has a special interest in hip preservation and complex hip surgery in both children and young adults. Her areas of expertise including hip dysplasia and impingement, Perthes, avascular necrosis, slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE), and skeletal dysplasias. She has specialized training in complex hip surgeries including periacetabular osteotomy, surgical hip dislocation, and many osteotomies around the hip.
