Callie W. Amedee, PA-C, practices orthopedic medicine at Ochsner Health. Callie has experience in trauma surgery, critical care and emergency medicine, and she has a strong background in patient evaluation, surgical assistance and procedural interventions.

Callie earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi. She also holds a Master of Biology Medical Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Callie is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, staying current with the latest advancements in her field.

Callies clinical experience includes treating acute and chronic conditions in trauma, emergency medicine and orthopedic settings. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care with a focus on restoring mobility and function. She is committed to delivering compassionate and effective care to her patients. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, traveling and being on the water.
