Biography
Catherine Staffeld-Coit, MD, MMM, is a transplant nephrologist at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. Her areas of interest include pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant management.
She earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. She completed her internship and residency at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio, followed by clinical renal, nephrology research, and renal transplantation fellowships at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She also earned a master’s in medical management from Tulane University in New Orleans.
Dr. Staffeld-Coit is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Medical Examiners and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. She has been on staff at Ochsner since 1996.
