Dr. Chima Akunne practices podiatry and podiatric surgery at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who completed his extensive surgical training within the prestigious Columbia Presbyterian Health System in New York City.

Dr. Akunne, both medically and surgically, manages all ailments of the lower extremity for the pediatric, adult and geriatric populous. Dr. Akunne particularly specializes in sports medicine of the foot and ankle, as well as complex reconstruction of chronic foot and ankle deformities.
