Christa Helaire, NP, practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. She received finished her nurse practitioner studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2013. Christa has since been an employed provider at Ochsner Lafayette General for the over 12 years. With a background in intensive care and cardiac nursing, Christa brings a wealth of clinical experience to her practice. She has a particular interest in diabetes management and education and is passionate about empowering patients to take an active role in their health. Her approach focuses on supporting patients in achieving their personal wellness goals and leading healthier, more fulfilling lives. Outside of work, Christa enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She is an avid LSU football fan, loves to travel and often unwinds with a good book.
