Dr. Christopher Achee practices family medicine at Ochsner Health. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and raised in Baker, Louisiana. He attended the University of Monroe and received his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine. After receiving his Medical Doctorate from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, he completed a residency in family medicine at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. In 2003, he opened his practice in Jennings, Louisiana. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Achee treats patient of all ages throughout their lifespan while focusing on primary and secondary prevention of chronic diseases and treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Achee is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. When he is not spending time with his wife, children and extended family, he enjoys golfing, fishing and hunting.
