Biography
Christopher Arceneaux, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in behavioral health at Ochsner Health. He was raised in Welsh, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University before transferring to McNeese State University and obtaining Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology and nursing, as well as a Master of Science in nursing. He is board-certified by the AANC as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Chris has been working in the behavioral field since 2010 and as a nurse practitioner since 2019. He treats a wide variety of psychiatric ailments, such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, post traumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance use. He has been a part of Ochsner Health Center - Jennings since 2021.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends, LSU athletics, traveling, cooking, reading, live music and playing with his cat and dog.
